Cataloochee Ski area …always seems to open early november.  Well they did it again,  this past saturday 4 trails and 2 lifts pulled people up to the top of the Mt.  It was just fro one day but thats besides the fact.  People were out skiing/snowboarding.  So a great soft opening for Cata. and the real open date is November 19th.
