Today Wintergreen Ski Patrol lost one of their own. David Stolze suffered a cardiac arrest while skiing at Big Sky, Montana. Dave was skiing with Ed Pouncey and Nici Singletary on a beautiful, gladed run in fresh powder when he collapsed.

Daron Rahlves posted a solid second-place finish in St. Johann/Oberndorf, Austria, the third of 12 events on the FIS World Cup Ski Cross calendar.

The 2009/10 Ski and Snowboard Season is underway! With cold temps and some natural snow, resorts across the region opened this past weekend!
